Korean Food at Jonggak: Kalguksu, Bossam, Makgeolli

Jonggak has plenty of lunch rooms. Fewer places serve kalguksu and bossam on the same menu. Sambong Dodam is noodles and rice soup at lunch, bossam, jeon, and makgeolli in the evening.

The signature bowl is Hanwoo bone-broth chicken kalguksu. Bossam is pork shoulder, cut thick. Small 350g is 35,000 won. Medium 500g is 47,000 won.

Some Jonggak offices use the room for a group dinner. There is no private room. Tables are in the hall. For four or more, especially weekend evenings, call 0507-1379-0443. Walk-ins are fine. If you wait, come inside and write your name on the list.

Extra kimchi is self-serve. Take what you need. Food can go out as takeout. We do not deliver.
