Mungteongi Bossam at Jonggak: Thick Cuts, Shoulder Meat

Mungteongi bossam is pork shoulder. It is not shaved thin. The cuts are thick. Lean and fat sit in the same slice.

Small 350g is 35,000 won. Medium 500g is 47,000 won. Extra meat, 150g, is 14,000 won. Wraps and sauce come with small and medium.

If you came for kalguksu and want a little pork, the tasting plate is 100g, 6,000 won. No wraps, no sauce. The printed menu says so.

Evening tables often add makgeolli. One minari-jeon finishes the spread. Some guests come to Jonggak only for bossam. Take the medium then.
